This policy explains what information is processed when you use PinDown (pindown.pro) and why. We keep data collection to a minimum: the tool works without an account and we do not keep the files you download.

No account required

You do not need to register, sign in or give us your email address to use PinDown, and we never ask for your Pinterest login.

Links you submit

When you paste a Pin link, it is sent to our server so we can read the public Pin. To find the available files, our server passes the link to a third-party processing service that reads public Pinterest posts. The link is used only to prepare your download options and is not connected to your identity.

Downloaded files

When you click Download, the video or image passes through our server on its way to your browser. Files are not stored on our servers and are not shared with anyone else.

Server logs

Like most websites, our servers automatically record basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages and files requested, and the time of each request. We use these logs to keep the service secure, stop abuse and fix errors. They are kept for a limited time and then deleted automatically.

Cookies

PinDown does not use advertising or analytics cookies. The site may set a small technical cookie that it needs to work, for example to remember your language. Our network and security provider may also set a strictly necessary cookie to protect the site from abusive traffic.

Children

PinDown is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices

Because there are no user accounts, there is no profile to view or delete. If you emailed us and want that message deleted, or you have another privacy question, contact us and we will help.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the service changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
